At Sunshine Acres Ranch equestrian center, our goal is to provide you with a mount that you can count on in any situation. We’ve been breeding horses since 1979 when Sandy’s Prize Barrel Mare pulled a stifle, and since then have been breeding this Top Deck ,Goldseeker Bar mare to the infamous Go Sugar Bars (AAA producer), born out of the Go Man Go and Sugar Bars (AAA producer). This pair blessed me with Go Sunshinestrider who stood stud for me 28 years and produced many of my broodmares and riding horses.  I crossed these mares with a Zippo Pat Bar-Bartender stud who grew up as a cattle working boy.

When we first started breeding, our goal was simply to produce speed and agility for events. Now, we focus on balancing award-winning ability with character and high potential to create lifetime bonds with humans. We continue to breed quality Quarter horses, but have been blessed to add a registered Gypsy Vanner stud to our mix as well, giving us the first four Gypsy Vanner sports horses born in Romance, AR. (They are truly wonderful horses — beautiful black and white marked, and they love people!)

Our Gypsy Vanner stud and his excellent LionKing bloodline continues to produce, with additional foals on the way! All will be registered with the American Gypsy Horse Association.
